Jesus himself was able to overcome evil with good things. Throughout his gospel, Jesus was treated badly by the Jews. However, he was able to overcome all the evil deeds by doing good things. He fed the angry, raised the dead, healed the sick and forgave sins. All these things he did them to overcome the evil. There are several personalities in the bible that did good things to overpower the evil. For instance, David, King Solomon and other great people were able to overpower evil by doing good things. It is essential for the parties in conflict to forgive each other in order to come with a long lasting solution to conflict. According to the teachings of the bible, reconciliation should be soldered by solid forgiveness. A good example of solid forgiveness in the bible is that of Joseph and his brothers. He forgave his brothers and they reconciled even after they sold him to Egypt as a slave. There are other people in the bible who established a concrete reconciliation with God by seeking solid forgiveness.
